Syllabus Collection Project

Since the first courses in ethics and epidemiology in the mid-1990s, the idea blossomed that students in the public health sciences should at least be exposed to ethics and perhaps even be proficient in managing ethical challenges.  

It was realized there would be great utility in collecting and sharing syllabi in ethics and epidemiology and related fields. In 2011 and 2018, ACE supported an initiative to collect syllabi and make them freely available. The Syllabus Collection Project has over 80 syllabi and related resources maintained on a website hosted by the University of Miami Institute for Bioethics and Health Policy:
